Third last day of our class we had an amazing sequencing game in which we were supposed to four main topics with their sub topics which were related to out theme of the class. In the beginning an envelop was handed out to each group where they had to open it when instructed by the professor. each group was given around eight minutes to figure out the sub topics. On top of this each group was given one chance to check whether their work is right or wrong. In my group we began by distributing the main headings which were written in bold with the labeled number of subtopics. The first group to figure out all subtopics Back-squad and Savages. Although, we didn't use our chance for checking so we were awarded to help the group which was unable to figure out all the subtopics with in the given amount of time. We were given Motifs, Genres,Rhetorical Purposes, and, Rhetorical Modes. In addition, It was a fun game and the main purpose of the game was to make the students conscious about the terms and definitions we studied throughout the semester.

Consider specific assignments, specific readings/films, specific conversations, and/or specific processes that helped you learn and grow. Our second last game in class was to arrange an exert of a chapter in sequence. This time we were given 11 pieces of paper of a chapter, and we were supposed to arrange them in order which makes sense. First and last pages were pretty clear by the transitions used by the writer such as in the end, in the beginning etc. Then we went on to figure out the middle of the chapter by reading the first sentences of each of the paragraph, but it didn't work out though. Then we had read couple more sentences to take out the literal meaning and arrange them. We were still unable to figure out so, we thought to eye read them quickly, which quite helped. The main aim of such activities is to bring the ideas together and relate them to make sense. In the last part we had a question and answer session where every group had to give at least on genre subtopic. We had last chance but somehow we manged to get the right answer by looking at the paper.

By the end of our semester we conducted a game in order to revise our main ideas of the class. In this game we had six to seven students sitting in front facing the rest of the students. Mr. Mangini, our professor displayed some words on the projector screen. And the students facing the screen were supposed to explain that word to the students in front and they had to guess the right word. While sitting in front I was feeling a bit nervous because it was first time speaking in front of the students in this class. While sitting facing the screen I felt pressurized by the time running right next to me, as the students had only 2 mins to guess all the right words displayed on the screen which they were not allowed to see. Since the time was running very fast in that occasion I noticed my voice was increasing in volume because we were determined to win that game as a team.
